Equipment Engineer Fort Worth, Texas
New successful Electronic Repair facility is looking for an experienced Equipment Engineer with hands-on experience maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of SMT machines in PCBA process and provide technical support to production with other related functions.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of the regular & class II machine maintenance.
- In charge of equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Weekly meetings with machine vendors and collaboration with the team to report related machine issues.
- In charge of machine installation and line set-up.
- Train new engineers and technicians for related SMT/ DIP machines operation, programming, maintenance & troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with other departments for production meetings related to daily machine and quality issues.
- Create policies and procedures / work instructions for newly acquired machines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in other similar engineering jobs, including hands-on involvement in product design, testing, development and manufacturing processes.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to identify complex technical issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Project Management Experience: Proven experience in managing projects from start to finish, including defining project scope, creating project plans, allocating resources, and tracking progress.
